Overview

Through a variety of awards programs, ICAA publicly recognizes the efforts of individuals and organizations that make outstanding contributions in industries serving the older-adult market.

Innovator award in active aging Our awards include:

Innovators Achievement Award

This award is presented annually to innovative programs or concepts that advance the cause of active aging and improve wellness for older adults.

What winners receive
• a complimentary ICAA Conference pass
• an award to display in your facility
• an invitation to present on an innovators panel at the Conference
• an article on your program in the Journal on Active Aging
• recognition on the ICAA website
• national recognition in the industry as an innovator and leader
• national media exposure

Acknowledge the work of others
The Innovator Award is presented for programs or best practices that are original and do not inappropriately use materials that are protected by copyright, register mark or trademark. Materials used in the program or best practice must give credit to the source (if not originally prepared by the applicant). When the publisher or owner of the material gives permission for it to be used, add the acknowledgement that is required.

Innovators Green Award

The Green Award is presented every year to an organization that has demonstrated environmental stewardship by creating and/or implementing eco-friendly products, services, processes, designs or programs in their communities.

What winners receive
• a complimentary ICAA Conference pass
• an award to display in your facility
• an invitation to present on an innovators panel at the Conference
• an article on your program in the Journal on Active Aging
• recognition on the ICAA website
• national recognition in the industry as an innovator and leader
• national media exposure
