[SCAM BUSTER ] New resources target online fraud
The National Council on Aging, with funding from Zelle®, has created content and graphics aimed at helping older adults take action against online scams. The US national campaign launched on June 15, World Elder Abuse Day.
The campaign includes articles, tips, and video assets to help users learn to identify scams and protect themselves, and sample social media messaging to help people get the word out to their communities.
The campaign features six clickable scam tips and corresponding social media copy. These include:

Scam Tip #2: Understand the Psychology (for ways to protect against payment scams)
Scam Tip #3: Confirm Information (for how to send money safely online)
Scam Tip #4: Report It (for ways to stop online scammers)
Scam Tip #5: Limit Your Details (for how to stay safe when having conversations online)
Scam Tip #6: Contact the Business (for how to spot business imposter scams)
