Sedentary lifestyle isn't great for men, either

In last week’s issue of ICAA Research Review, an analysis of the activity levels of 92,234 women showed that women who had many hours of sedentary time each day were at a higher risk of death, even if they exercised. A separate study included 84,170 men ages 45-69 who did not have heart failure
(the heart cannot pump sufficient amounts of blood) at baseline. After an average of 7.8 years, 3,473 men were diagnosed with heart failure.
