Happiness, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, is the state of well-being and contentment, perhaps with joy. ICAA Research Review has reported that retirees who choose activities they can do frequently and well are happier (10[8] 2010), as are women who laugh, work together on a project and perform strength training (10[15] 2010). Simply being older may have the same effect.
