Association honors Internet-based health management system

[VANCOUVER, BC]—The International Council on Active Aging® (ICAA), an association that leads, connects and defines the active-aging industry, is pleased to name Interactive Health Partner (IHP) as the 2013 recipient of the ICAA Innovators Practical Solutions Award (formerly the Innovative Solutions Award). This category of the annual ICAA Innovators Awards program recognizes creative products or services for active older adults. Offerings may target any or all of the seven wellness dimensions endorsed by ICAA—emotional, vocational, physical, spiritual, environmental, social and intellectual wellness.

Developed by parent company PCE Health & Fitness in Salt Lake City, Utah, IHP’s online solution brings together health data collection, fitness assessments, and exercise prescription and monitoring in one location. Easy access to health information and professional recommendations allows users to create comprehensive health profiles for clients and effectively manage their health and wellness. According to IHP, health data has been collected for almost 100,000 individuals to date, and a duplicate health profile has never been produced.
