Caregivers gain multiple benefits from exercise intervention

A caregiver aids a person who is incapacitated. The Family Caregiver Alliance states that 8.9 million unpaid caregivers in the US (family, friends and neighbors) help a person 50 years or older who has dementia. Caregivers have demanding roles that can lead to chronic stress along with risks for poor mental and physical health, point out the authors of a new study. Physical activity has proven physical and mental health benefits. Could caregivers help themselves by participating in physical activity?
