Once again, vegetables shown to lower risk for heart disease

The influence of diet on heart disease has been studied for many years, felt the authors of a new review, but the individual studies had not been collected into a single review. They noted that only the Mediterranean eating pattern has been evaluated through randomized controlled trials, which found a significant association with coronary heart disease. Their goal was to systematically review all the studies and analyze the associations.
