Women's health issues change as they age

The US Census Bureau projects that in the year 2010, there will be 41.5 million women ages 45-64 and 22.9 million women ages 65 years and older (2009 Statistical Abstract). Their health status during older ages will have an impact on their quality of life as well as on the resources of the health care system.
