Psychology finds positive aspects of aging
At the recent meeting of the American Psychological Association, one of the addresses was by Steven Blair, PED, a member of the ICAA Advisory Board, who said that psychologists can be integral in helping patients understand the health hazards of being inactive and encouraging people to look for more ways to get moving. Blair noted that emerging research is showing how physical activity promotes brain health.
