One country's story: cost of stroke in billions

The economic burden of stroke was exemplified in a study released at another meeting, the Canadian Stroke Congress. Press information stated that in Canada, there are approximately 50,000 new cases of stroke each year. Overall about 300,000 Canadians are living with stroke.
