Riding bikes and brisk walking lead to weight loss
Since 1994, there has been an increase in bicycling and walking, and a decrease in pedestrian and bike fatalities and injuries across the United States, according to a newly released report including data from the 2009 National Household Travel Survey. That’s a positive trend, especially since a separate study confirms the value of these activities for health goals.
