Aging populations are creating demand for many types of services

The concept of active aging was defined by the World Health Organization as “the process of optimizing opportunities for health, participation and security in order to enhance quality of life as people age” in the Active Aging Policy Framework. A new report from the International Council on Active Aging uses research to explore the many dimensions of the aging population.
