Population profile of the 55+
There’s a reason why statistical agencies of the world’s governments and non-governmental organizations churn out numbers on population, ethnicities, health and other markers. The numbers are critical for planning, guiding policy, indicating needs and allocating resources. As the new year begins, the US Census Bureau has released numbers that aid understanding of the environment of active aging.
