Communities challenged to prepare for aging populations
Local governments in the US provide services to their residents, paid for by taxes and fees, or through partnerships and grants and federal and state aid, among other sources. Local governments profiled in a new report related services for older adults to the governments’ declines in revenue and the overall state of the economy over the past six years.
