More physical activity, less TV, lowers risk of depression
A systematic review reported earlier this year in ICAA Research Review (11[26] July 2011) showed that prolonged sitting, including while watching television, led to mortality and weight gain from childhood through adulthood. The authors concluded that a growing body of evidence suggests that sedentary behavior may be a distinct risk factor for health problems in adults.
