Osteoporosis-related fragility fractures cost Euro 39 billion

Presented at the European Congress of Osteoporosis & Osteoarthritis meeting, a new analysis detailed the economic burden of fragility fractures (fracture resulting from daily activities, such as a fall from standing height) in the 27 member states of the European Union.
