US population is less healthy than people in other nations

In the first issue of the year, ICAA Research Review (13[1] January 2013) reported that, globally, people are living longer in poorer health. Another survey focused on the US population showed that on average, Americans die sooner and experience higher rates of disease and injury than people in other high-income countries, even if they have health insurance, college educations, higher incomes and healthy behaviors.
