Mediterranean diet also supports cognitive skills
The eating pattern termed the Mediterranean diet emphasizes vegetables and fruit, fish, whole grains and limited amounts of meat. This diet has been associated with a reduced risk of heart disease (N Engl J Med 2013; 368:1279-1290). A new study finds it may also help thinking and memory.
