Program "with us" not "to us" for well-being

The culture change to person-centeredness strives to adjust staff attitudes and responsibilities to involve older adults in the decision making about their care as well as their daily activities (Pioneer Network). Older adults also said that involvement is the key issue when describing why they will—or will not—participate in programs and services designed for them.
