Workplace wellness is great, but don't make me do it
Nearly two-thirds (64%) of organizations serving older adults offer employee wellness programs, according to a survey of 554 respondents to an ICAA survey (ICAA Wellness Industry Development Survey 2012). Many employers offer wellness programs, but employees may not take advantage of them. A recent tactic is to incentive them by asking employees to pay a higher share of health insurance premiums if they do not participate or meet health goals, such as losing weight or lowering blood pressure.
This is a benefit of membership. If you are not an ICAA member you will need to purchase a membership for access. To learn more here
