ICAA Champion: introducing the City of Salisbury's Jim Binder
For Jim Binder, "active aging means acting as a role model and encouraging others to take responsibility for their health and well-being. And it means being enthusiastic about aging, as well as the possibilities and opportunities that aging brings." The City of Salisbury's coordinator, Wellbeing Programs, encourages people to "challenge stereotypes that both portray older adults through a lens of decline and diminished value and emphasize the 'burdens' of growing old."
