Aegis finds freedom through functionality

Around 1995, Beverly Enterprises Inc. brought most of its rehabilitative therapy services in house. This shift in how the company handled its services went against what many rehabilitative therapy providers were doing at the time. But the strategy proved a wise one. Changes in prospective payment (or reimbursement) led to the demise of organizations that could not respond to the altered circumstances.
