Stats: 40% of 65+ adults live with a disability
An estimated 61 million US adults (25.7% of the population) have a disability that impacts major life activities, including 40% (2 in 5) of those ages 65 and older, according to a new report from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Data were from 2016, the latest available.
