Maintaining positive thoughts and feelings can help people achieve better overall outcomes when it comes to their cardiovascular health by "strengthening psychological well-being," according to a research team led by Darwin R. Labarthe, MD, MPH, PhD, professor of Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois.
