CMS adds 11 telehealth services for Medicare beneficiaries
The US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently added 11 new telehealth services that will be reimbursed by Medicare for at least the duration of the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE), and possibly longer. The new services include cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services, as well as certain neurostimulator analysis and programming services. The additions represent the first update of the list of reimbursable telehealth services since May 1, 2020.
