Leaders who listen, learn have more resilient teams
Leaders who encourage their employees to learn on the job and speak up with ideas and suggestions for change have teams that are more effective and resilient in the face of unexpected situations, according to research from Rice University, Houston, Texas and the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Although the study authors examined interactions interactions of 48 teams from five Canadian technology startups, the findings seem generalizable to other industries, including active aging.
