"Pure panic": Newspaper portrayals of residential care during pandemic
Researchers from the Bar-Ilan University School of Social Work in Ramat Gan, Israel recently investigated coverage of residential care during the pandemic in three US newspapers: The New York Times, USA Today and The New York Post. They found "fearmongering and the portrayal of residential care as lacking transparency" and predict this "will likely create future mistrust of the industry."
